An American company facing a three-fold expansion due to acquisition of major new brands commissioned BBA Communications to conduct a study to determine the optimum positioning and communications for the "new" company. The study assessed how management and employees perceived the business, as well as how important external constituencies viewed the anticipated acquisition. BBA Communications's recommendations, including a mission statement, helped the company integrate new brands and people seamlessly.
Only three months later, a public relations audit revealed that the new company was considered by journalists among the top three in the industry for the quality of corporate communications.

A major communications audit for one of Europe's major port authorities revealed that its U.S. clients held many misconceptions about the port's facilities and services. Based on the findings, public relations campaigns and advertising messages were designed to address the problems and change a blurry image to a clear picture of the port's outstanding performance.
